Keeping Kids Safe Event this Saturday in Grass Valley

Set in a carnival like atmosphere, the 10th annual “Keeping Kids Safe” Event Hosted by the Beam Easy Living Center in Grass Valley is this Saturday April 20th from 10 to 3.

Bring the kids to 422 Henderson Street in Grass Valley to interact with Local Law Enforcement, fire departments, service organizations and more, all armed with loads of safety tips and information to keep your kids safe.

Brian O’Brien, marketing manager with Beam Easy living center says as the kids play, parents can meet Mark Klaas. Mark is the father of Polly Klaas who was kidnapped and killed in 1993. Mark now works with parents and law enforcement to hasten response times and gather information when children are reported missing.

The Klass Foundation will be there with their Free digital finger print and photo ID service for kids of all ages. O’Brien says everything is absolutely free including hotdogs from the Kiwanis club, soft drinks, snowcones, and all the attractions are free so parents can get the message to keep kids safe.

A free petting zoo, bicycle rodeo and more will be there. It’s all happening in the parking lot of the Beam Easy Living Center on Henderson Street in Grass Valley Saturday from 10 to 3.
