Regional Sewer Talks Continue at Auburn City Council

The County’s Regional Sewer proposal was back on Monday Night’s Auburn City Council Agenda. The discussion was over a 2nd set of deal points to be proposed by the city of Auburn to the city of Lincoln who will host the regional sewer plant and the County of Placer that wants the city of Auburn on board to spread costs of a regional plant. Auburn Mayor Kevin Hanley explains the first set of deal points didn’t go over so well with the county.

Mayor Hanley was the one dissenting vote on the council.

 The council passed the motion to accept the regional sewer common pipeline deal points and directed staff to send them to Placer County and the City of Lincoln for their responses.
