One Book One Community Event Thursday

The final event of the Rotary’s One Book One Community  project, to get people reading, is Thursday night (April 25) at 6:30 pm at the Placer County Office of Education Annex building at 365 Nevada Street Auburn, CA 95604


New York times Best Selling Author Jordan Fisher Smith will introduce an evening showing of the documentary film “Under Our Skin” and he and members of the California Lyme Disease Association will answer questions about Lyme disease. Under Our Skin, which Jordan narrated, was on the 2010 Oscar shortlist of the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences. Jordan Fisher Smith is the Author of Nature Noir the book chosen as the Rotary’s book to read and several events were planned around the book which takes place in the Auburn state Recreation Area in the 1980’s.
