Auburn Police Officer Pushed and Suspect Fled

An Auburn Police Officer was pushed and a suspect fled on foot after a traffic stop Friday night. Auburn Police Officer Chris Forman pulled a vehicle over shortly before 11pm on Lincoln Way in Auburn, the driver, Lucas Strom got out of the car as requested. Auburn Police Lt Victor Pecarero says during questioning Strom became agitated.

 The officers capturing Strom while a 3rd officer stayed with the passenger of the vehicle, Sean Isaacks,   where the stop was made on Lincoln Way. After Strom was arrested, officers began searching the vehicle and found weapons and drugs.

 Auburn Police Officers located a sizeable amount of heroin and learned that Strom had an active burglary warrant out of Summit County, Utah. Strom’s passenger, Sean Isaacks, was arrested after he was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and a switch blade knife. And, during a search of Strom’s vehicle along with the loaded 45 caliber handgun and a digital scale often used in drug sales was located by officers. Both suspects were arrested and booked into the placer county Jail.
