The Placer County Board of Supervisors will hold a regularly scheduled meeting on Tue., May 7, in Board Chambers, 175 Fulweiler Ave., Auburn. The meeting begins at 9 a.m.
Some items on the agenda include a briefing on the South Placer Adult Correctional Facility. Public comment is expected for two items on sewage treatment in Placer County.
You may have seen the signs have been popping up in the county, “Say no to the Lincoln Sewer Pipeline”.
Bill Zimmerman the Deputy Director of Placer county’s Facility services explains the need to make a change in the system.
Zimmerman offers a couple of the benefit is of going regional.
Also on the agenda a hearing on an appeal of the county’s proposed biomass facility near Tahoe City, Health and Human Services contract items and two items from the Department of Public Works, one on a bridge replacement on Brewer Road and another on the North Phase of the Auburn-Folsom Road road-widening project.
