Auburn PD Investigation Leads to Arrest in Vehicle Vandalisms

An Auburn Police Investigation has led to an arrest following a rash of vehicle vandalisms.

Late Sunday Night  Officer Stan Hamelin met with Auburn resident, James Hailey, at his residence to investigate the rash of vehicle vandalisms. The vandalisms had been occurring in the two hundred block of Poet Smith Drive in the City of Auburn. During Officer Hamelin’s investigation, he established probable cause that Hailey was the suspect responsible for the vandalisms.

27 year old Hailey was subsequently arrested and booked into the Placer County Jail without incident.
