Robbery Suspect Arrested by APD

A Suspect has been arrested in the robbery of a business on Monday May 20. Auburn Police Officers responded to the 300 Block of Huntley Avenue for a burglary report. The suspect stole items from the victim’s residence and from a vehicle on scene. During the course of the investigation, it was determined that Nathaniel Gibson was the suspect in this case. On May 22, 2013, Nathaniel Gibson entered a business at the 100 Block of Borland Avenue. Gibson forced his way past two employees in order to access the cash register. Gibson stole an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the scene on foot.

On May 24, 2013 Auburn Police Officers contacted Gibson in downtown Auburn. Gibson was arrested for Burglary and Robbery. Gibson is currently being held at Placer County Jail with bail set at $100,000.
