PCWA Looking for New Director

The Placer County Water Agency (PCWA) Board of Directors is accepting letters of interest from prospective candidates to fill the unexpired term of former PCWA District 2 Director Alex Ferreira, who retired on June 6.  The individual appointed to the vacancy by the PCWA Board of Directors will serve the remainder of the term ending December 5, 2014.

PCWA District 2 includes the City of Lincoln, parts of the City of Rocklin and unincorporated Placer County agricultural and rural communities.

Information about the position, the Agency, and a map of District 2 is available and posted at the Agency’s website (www.pcwa.net).

To be considered for the PCWA District 2 Director position, candidates must reside in PCWA District 2, be a registered voter in Placer County, be at least 18 years of age and a United States citizen.  Interested individuals should submit a letter of interest with their name and address, affirming they meet these requirements, and highlighting their qualifications for the position. 

The letter of interest and qualifications may be  hand-delivered to Cheri Sprunck, PCWA Clerk to the Board, 144 Ferguson Road, Auburn, California; or e-mailed to clerk@pcwa.net.   Completed submissions must be received by the PCWA Clerk to the Board by 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 26, 2013.
