El Dorado County Sheriff’s Deputies Asking for Public’s Help

El Dorado County Sheriff’s Deputies are asking for the public’s help to find suspects who stole $2000 in quarters.

On June 16, 2013 at approximately 04:30 AM two unidentified white men entered the SS Coin Wash Laundromat on Durock Road in Shingle Springs and started wandering around the business. Both men were in and out of the business multiple times over the course of five hours. They appeared to have laundered items while there. The men arrived at the business in a U-Haul moving truck.

At about 08:45 AM one of the suspects drilled into the coin machine while the other backed the U-Haul truck up next to the business door.  As a result of both suspects efforts, they stole approximately $2000 in quarters and bills.

Surveillance cameras captured the suspects, both inside and outside the business and provides pictures of the suspects. You can see pictures on our KAHI Facebook page.

Sheriff John D’Agostini is requesting anyone with information regarding this incident or anyone who recognizes either of these suspects, please contact Detective Netashia Gallagher at 530-642-4720.
