Animal Place in Grass Valley a sanctuary for farm animals is willing to pay you to take an hour-long guided tour of the 600-acre facility.
Kim Sturla, is the executive director of Animal Place, home to some 300 animals that would otherwise be used for food dairy or egg production. Sturla believes people who see cows, chickens, sheep, rabbits and pigs up close will change their views about eating them.
Sturla says it’s easy to get paid to take the tour.
The tours begin in July. You can see a schedule of tours on line at animal place dot org.
Animal Place offers the tours Wednesdays through Sundays. The sanctuary is located at 17314 McCourtney Ave. in rural Grass Valley.
