$2 Million in Mental Health Funding Approved at BOS Meeting

A nearly empty Board Chambers made the quick approval of several Health and Human Services agenda Item approvals echo through the dome.

The Board unanimously approved around 2 million dollars in state funding for Health and Human Services across several areas. Using these funds for established community programs, as Richard Knecht Director of Children’s Systems explains, is the best approach for the county to get care to those who need it.
