The 58th annual Tevis Cup is this Saturday. 170 plus riders from all over the world are coming together to make the 100-mile endurance ride from Truckee to the Endurance capital of the world in Auburn competing for bragging rights and the chance to take home one of the Sterling Silver buckles for making the trek in 24-hours or less. Shellie Hatfield a competitor and on the board of the Western States Board of governors says the heat will be a factor this weekend.
Hatfield says the cheering spectators mean a lot to the riders and shares a few spots to watch the horses and riders come through.
