The Placer County Board of Supervisors held one of its thrice annual meetings in the Lake Tahoe area this week. On Mon. July 22, the meeting was at the Tahoe City Public Utility District (TCPUD) offices, on Fairway Dr., in Tahoe City. The Board received a report from the North Lake Tahoe Resort Association on the past winter’s marketing efforts and a summer preview. The TCPUD will also present a report to the Board on operations and future plans for the Tahoe City Golf Course. At 5 p.m., the TCPUD will host a reception at the Golf Course Clubhouse, 251 North Lake Blvd., Tahoe City.
Tuesday’s meeting will have a venue change at the Resort at Squaw Creek, 400 Squaw Creek Rd., in Olympic Valley. At this meeting, staff from the county’s Community Development Resource Agency will present two information items, one on the status of the Tahoe Basin Community Plan Update efforts and the other on the Truckee River Corridor Access Plan. Also on the agenda is a contract for the Rioso Road Improvement Project and the Rollins Lake Safety Improvement Project. The Board will also consider a proposed expenditure for construction of two projects: the Community House in Kings Beach and the first phase of Way Finding signage in the North Lake Tahoe area.
