Juveniles Threaten Auburn Resident with Gun

3 juveniles were arrested for threatening a local man with a gun. On September 13, 2013 at approximately 00:22 a.m. Auburn Police officers responded to the 100 Block of Pine Street for a disturbance report with one of the subjects in possession of a firearm. When officers arrived, three male subjects ran from the area. Officers pursued the subjects on foot through an alleyway and several back yards. Placer County Sheriff’s deputies arrived to assist. Officers detained two male juveniles shortly afterward and recovered a firearm. Officers determined the three juveniles originally went to the residence on Pine Street with the intent to steal some property from the back yard. The victim confronted the three juveniles as they entered his back yard. One of the juveniles pointed a firearm at the victim and threatened to kill him and his entire family. At that moment, Auburn Police officers arrived and the subjects fled.

On September 13, 2013 at approximately 07:25 a.m. Auburn Police Officers contacted the third juvenile at a residence at the 100 block of Garfield Ave and detained him for the crime.

All three Juveniles, were each 17 years of age, and were booked into the Placer County Juvenile Hall on charges of Attempted Robbery, Assault with a Deadly Weapon, and Conspiracy.On September 13, 2013 at approximately 00:22 a.m. Auburn Police officers responded to the 100 Block of Pine Street for a disturbance report with one of the subjects in possession of a firearm.
