Placer County Veterans Stand Down

Placer County Veterans Stand Down starts Tuesday and runs through Thursday at the Roseville Fairgrounds, 800 All American Blvd.  3 Days of Free Resources for Veterans & Family Members

The event caters to homeless veterans and services include Medical, Dental and Optical Services for veterans as well as food and shelter for up to 3 days as other resources are found. But this is also a time for all veterans to share in camaraderie with their fellow vets.

 Senior Chaplain Terry Morgan with the Gold Country Chaplaincy is also President of the Placer Veteran’s Stand Down and tells up about some of the other services available to Veterans.

Chaplain Morgan says all Veterans can get help with their Veteran Benefits at the event.

Spiritual and Mental Health Services will be offered and it is all free. These services are for our vets & families, at the Placer county Veterans Stand down today through Thursday.

    Received my first real eye thorough exam in thirty yrs. today at the stand-down. Walked away with my first pair of prescription glasses. What a difference.
