Search for David Brocker Continues after Hit and Run Tuesday

On September 17, 2013, Auburn Police Department officers made a probation/parole visit to the residence of David Brocker. David is 25 years of age and resides in Auburn, California. Officers located heroin at David’s residence. A short time later, David attempted to leave and while doing so he attempted to strike two officers with his vehicle. David also struck a parked car and part of the apartment building structure with his vehicle. He fled the scene and his vehicle was located in the parking lot of an apartment complex in the 100 block of Lubeck Road.

A short time after locating David’s vehicle an officer saw David behind the complex on Lubeck Road and David ran from the officer. Officer Castaner and other officers followed David as he ran into the canyon area behind the complex. David eluded officers and he is still outstanding at this time. Members of the California Highway Patrol (CHP) Air Operation, Placer County Sheriff’s Office, California State Parks and CAL Fire all assisted the Auburn Police Department on this incident.

David is currently wanted for assault with a deadly weapon, possession of heroin and hit/run. This is currently an ongoing investigation and information is limited at this time. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of David Brocker is asked to contact the Auburn Police Department or their local law enforcement agency.
