The Roseville police Department is taking applications for the Police Business Academy. Nina Shaull Investigator with Roseville Police Department says the class is designed to educate members of the Roseville business community in Crime Prevention techniques, the process of crime reporting and encourage a productive exchange of information between businesses and the police.
Roseville Business Owners will get advice on safe Hiring Practices, Crime Prevention, Business Security, Personal Safety, Citizen’s Arrest and they are bringing in an Federal Agent to talk about counterfeiting.
Another popular topic of interest to business owners has to do with Transients.
Also information on High-Tech Crimes, After an arrest is made and Hacker-proof passwords.
The Academy is set for October 8, 10, 15, and 17th from 8am to 11:30am. All four sessions will be held at the Roseville Police Department, Mark White Room 1051 Junction Blvd, in Roseville.
