Auburn Police officers arrested Sharisse GARNER, 28 years of age, of Auburn on Thursday after Officer Stan Hamelin contacted GARNER in front of a convenience store in the 300 block of Sacramento Street in Auburn. As Officer Hamelin spoke with GARNER, she appeared to be under the influence of narcotics. During a search of GARNER’s vehicle, Officer Hamelin located several baggies which contained methamphetamine, a ready to use needle containing methamphetamine, approximately 14 used needles and two methamphetamine smoking pipes. Additionally, approximately 18 pounds of marijuana was located in a large bag in her vehicle. During a verification of GARNER’S identity, officers discovered a $10,000 arrest warrant out of the State of Nevada. GARNER is currently in-custody at the placer County Jail and is ineligible for bail due to the Nevada Warrant.
Also on Thursday Bryan Gordon SWIFT, 30 years of age, of Auburn, was arrested after officers, investigating a complaint of subjects camping in an undeveloped, wooded, area near the Auburn Airport, contacted Bryan SWIFT at one of the two campsites located on City of Auburn property. Officers found eight laptop computers, software and electronic equipment. The investigation also revealed that SWIFT had stolen the items from a local business at the airport. During a verification of SWIFT’S identity, SWIFT was found to be on the Post Release Community Supervision program or PRCS Program. SWIFT was arrested for burglary and a violation of the terms of his early release program. SWIFT was booked at the Placer County Jail and is being held on a No Bail Hold.
