Salvation Army Community Thanksgiving Dinner Needs Volunteers

The Auburn Salvation Army is once again understating the feast of Thanksgiving for the Auburn Community. Lt Justin Salvation Army says they love to bring the Auburn Community together.

Auburn residents from all walks of life join in the annual event, this is the 21st year the Salvation Army has hosted the dinner complete with turkey and all the fixins including dessert.  Hot meals are also delivered to those who cannot attend by calling Laura during business hours at 888-1303 before noon on Wednesday the 27th.  Lt. Justin says it is important that the community turn out for those who have no one to share a meal with this thanksgiving.

The Auburn community Thanksgiving dinner is Thursday the 28th from noon to 2pm at the gold Country Fairgrounds in Auburn and is free of charge. You can make a donation of your time at the event by calling Heather at the Salvation Army in Auburn at  889-3990 or you can make a monetary donation by sending your check to the Salvation Army of Auburn PO Box 4088 Auburn Ca 95604.
