First District Supervisor Jack Duran and Fourth District Supervisor Kirk Uhler have opened new district offices in Roseville, within their respective district boundaries. Both had their previous offices in a county building off Cirby Street in Roseville that they shared with County Human Services.
Supervisor Duran’s new district office is at 117 Church St., in the historic area of Roseville. The building, built in 1915, has housed a number of very different businesses. It was originally built as Roseville’s first funeral parlor, later housed the Roseville Register-Tribune newspaper, and then Roseville Printing. The building was renovated in 2000. Supervisor Uhler’s new location is 1700 Eureka Blvd., Suite 160, also in Roseville. Both offices will keep normal business hours.
“I like having my offices in the heart of Roseville,” said Duran, whose district includes most of Roseville, including western Roseville. “It’s interesting to be in a building that is a piece of Roseville’s history. Having this new location puts my staff and myself closer to the constituents.”
Residents who would like to meet with the supervisors or their staffs should call the Board of Supervisors’ office at 530-889-4010.
Uhler said “My new office is located near the center of my supervisorial district,” “The move was opportune; Human Services needed to expand and I wanted an office that was more convenient for constituents from anywhere in my district.” Uhler’s Fourth District includes parts of Roseville and Granite Bay.
