Auburn City Manager Takes New Position with City of Grass Valley

Auburn City Manager Bob Richardson was named as the new Grass Valley City Manager in a special Grass Valley City Council meeting held Monday morning. The position pays $163 thousand dollars annually.

The full Grass Valley City Council appeared for the special meeting to announce the replacement of Dan Holler as City Administrator who left in August to be Interim City Manager in Mammoth, CA.

There was some public comment regarding the price tag to woo Richardson away from the city Auburn.

A closed session meeting in Auburn is scheduled for Wednesday to discuss how to proceed. Richardson is expected to take over in Grass Valley on February 10th.
