Auburn’s Award Winning Sewer Treatment Plant

It is a new year and there are lots of changes happening at Auburn’s City Hall. At Monday night’s closed session prior to the City Council meeting, council members got a first look at a few names of retired City Managers given to the city from the League of California cities who may be interested in taking on the job of Interim City manager until a permanent replacement for Bob Richardson can be found. Richardson took the city Manger position with the City of Grass Valley and will be leaving Auburn February the 6th.

Mayor Bridgette Powers kicked off the public portion of the meeting with an award to the City’s Waste Water Treatment plant.
