Placerville PD Warns Trail Users

Placerville Police Department warns residents to be aware on the trails. Sunday evening a male pedestrian walking on the walking trail was struck from behind by an unknown male. The incident occurred near the Schnell School Road overcrossing. The suspect was described as a white male adult, between 25-35 years old. He was wearing an unknown color baseball cap with the letters “FBC” across the front, a green jacket and carrying a black backpack. The Placerville Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect. This is the first incident of this kind the Placerville Police department has had reported to them from the walking trail.
