Auburn wants to see in writing their “Deal points” for a regional sewer approved by the city of Lincoln and the County of Placer before moving ahead with the 2.9 million dollar investment in capacity on the regional sewer pipeline based in Lincoln serving areas of Placer County. The Auburn city council authorized the city attorney, to send a letter to the county of Placer and the City of Lincoln listing the City of Auburn’s Deal Points, hoping that this time the 2 entities will sign on the dotted line, ensuring Auburn’s interests are secure. Auburn Mayor Brigitte Powers outlines a couple of the Deal Points requested.
Mayor Powers said water in Auburn Ravine is also an issue.
The Mayor says now we wait to hear back from the county of Placer and the city of Lincoln. The Auburn City council met in council chambers in city hall Monday night at 6pm at 1225 Lincoln Way in Auburn.
