Natalie Pietromonaco of Auburn Wins Drive Chip and Putt at Augusta

Congratulations to Natalie Pietromonaco of Auburn. Natalie won the Drive Chip and Putt tournament in Augusta Georgia in the girls division for 12 and 13 year olds.

The inaugural Drive, Chip and Putt Championship featured 88 youngsters who had advanced through local and regional competition last year.

The competition started at the practice facility where the youngsters each had two drives and two chips. They then moved to the putting green for two putts one from 6 feet, the other a 30-footer that was downhill and slick. For the final piece, the shot that would decide many of the age winners, the kids had a putt from about 15 feet on the 18th green.

Each of the winners received a trophy, and were brought in to the press center, for an interview just like the Master’s after they win at Augusta.
