“An evening with an American Hero” is This Sunday the 27th with the premiere BioPic of American hero and local resident Col. Bud Anderson. The Auburn Area Chamber of Commerce, The City of Auburn, the Auburn Airport Business Park Association and many other community volunteers are taking the lead to commemorate Col. Anderson by commissioning a local Artist, Douglas Van Howd, to create a life size image of the Col. along with his famous P-51 Mustang, Old Crow.
The Statue is being created and funds are being raised for its completion and placement at the Auburn Airport. You can be part of history by coming out to the State Theater for the Premiere to get a glimpse of the life the now 92 year old Anderson lived during WWII when he was only 22 years old. The Col shares one such story.
We know how that dog fight ended and now on April 27th – “An evening with an American Hero”. Col. Bud Anderson is premiering his BioPic being created for TV and also showing, the WWII era classic movie, Casablanca. Doors open at the Auburn State Theater, 985 Lincoln Way, Auburn, CA 95603 at 5 p.m. Movie starts at 6 p.m. Tickets are $45 each and include a “Red Carpet Premier Event”, Seating is limited to 130.
