After high school he attended the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a field of study in Environmental Engineering. Two years later he deployed as chief of logistics of an 800-Soldier light infantry battalion in support of the Iraq War Surge. Most recently, Art deployed as chief of operations of a 430-Soldier light infantry battalion performing multinational peacekeeping operations in the Sinai, Egypt.

In-between full-time military service, Art is a recognized and accomplished strategy and operations professional and process improvement expert.
