Five Car Pileup On Grass Valley Highway

Accident Pix

On Tuesday morning at 10:00 a.m., a five-car pileup took place southbound Grass Valley Highway at Quartz Drive.

The driver of a white Honda pickup truck lost control of his vehicle as he approached the intersection. Four cars were reportedly waiting for the light to turn green when the pickup truck slammed into them traveling approximately 55 MPH.

There is a possibility that the driver suffered from some sort of medical condition prior to crashing into the other vehicles.

Two victims, including the driver of the pickup, were transported to Sutter Auburn Faith with non-life threatening injuries.

An investigation to the accident is pending.
