Tap Folsom Offers Education And Tastings For Beer Fans

Beer Mug

The first ever TAP Folsom Event takes place tonight at the Lake Natoma Inn.  With the booming industry of microbrew craft beers, the Folsom Chamber of Commerce wanted to take advantage of that movement and create a fun event for beer lovers.

There will be 20 microbreweries providing some of their finest suds for tastings. The companies pouring tonight include Pyramid Breweries, Knee Deep Brewing Company, and even Crispin Hard Cider, along with several others. Beer lovers will have the chance to share their passion for craft beer with brewers, brew masters and even home brew hobbyists.  Brewmasters Rick Piccirrilli and David Morrow will be available to answer questions on techniques so that home brewers will have a new set of skills to practice with.

Beer is not the only attraction; live music will be available by Humble Wolf, Thunder Cover and Midnight Players, so people can get their groove on.

Once the event is over, and you haven’t had enough beer education and tastings, several bars in the area will offer free admission with a Tap Folsom wristband.

At an event like Tap Folsom, food is always welcomed.
