Coloma Fire Contained

The Adventure Fire burned 200 acres Thursday in Coloma, along Highway 49 and near River Bend Resort.  Crews had 100 percent containment by Thursday night.

The fire ignited around 2 p.m. and burned in grassy oak woodlands on both sides of Hwy. 49 north of Marshall grade.

Cal Fire said 21 trucks, four air tankers, two helicopters, two bulldozers and three water tenders are at the scene.  A small outbuilding was burned, according to Cal Fire.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation. Thankfully, there were no injuries.
