CalFire is planning a controlled burn tomorrow on Howell Hill, also known as Mount Howell. A Between Auburn and Colfax, West of I-80. The burn is planned between 9 am and 3 pm. The planned event is to clean 9 acres of brush and grass, and also will be used by CalFire as a training opportunity for fire fighters.
