Funds raised from a charity golf tournament sponsored by the Placer County Bar Association will be used for veterans services, disability rights assistance and self-help legal services.

The event will be held  on Friday, September 21, with a 1:30 p.m. shotgun start at the Turkey Creek Golf Club in Lincoln.  The entry fee of $140 covers green fees, range, golf cart, lunch, and an All-American BBQ dinner. The lawyers group stipulated there will be plenty of prizes and great fun.

Proceeds go to the Mother Lode Regional Office of Legal Services of Northern California, a non-profit legal aid program serving Amador, Calaveras, El Dorado, Placer, Nevada and Sierra Counties, which provides free help to low income individuals and seniors in civil cases who are unrepresented by lawyers.
