The Placer County SPCA new facility in Roseville is playing a part in supporting several dozen animals that have become homeless due to the CARR fire in Redding. Several shelters are either full or were evacuated due to the fire, and a team from Roseville transported the homeless dogs to the new facility before it is officially opened. Nine additional shelters from across Northern California picked up pets from the Redding shelter Monday. The SPCA says about 100 in total were rescued.
