Reports of car break-ins in Sacramento area counties show that over the past 10 years, Placer County has registered a 6% increase and leads the area counties in percentage of activity. Placer sill is much lower in the number of vehicle break-ins as compared to Sacramento and other counties; but it is still showing an increase. A recent string of 50 car break-ins in Roseville has gained official concern and they are projecting the problem to increase over the next year.
