With less than three weeks until the Nov. 6 General Election, the Placer County Elections Office reminds county residents to register to vote and check their registration status before the Oct. 22 voter registration deadline.
Voter registration forms are at all Post Offices, libraries and California Department of Motor Vehicles offices in Placer County or online at sos.ca.gov.
The Elections Office urges all registered voters to check their current party affiliation, address and vote-by-mail status at voterstatus.sos.ca.gov. This is particularly important for those who interacted since April with the California Department of Motor Vehicles, where some customersa voter registration information was inadvertently changed.
