Population figures released Friday puts California at the most populous state in the union but stalling at 39.9 million. The report also said that there were more native Californians in the State of Nevada that native Nevadans. The state added more than 180 thousand in the 12 months prior to July 2019, however after adding and subtracting births and deaths, then population that move out of state totaled 197 thousand, the state lost 39,500 residents. California unemployment figures are at a record low at 3.9%. Homeless people however continue to grow jumping 16.7% in January of 2019.
