Thunder valley casino owners, the auburn based united Indian community, could step up and contribute 24 million dollars to finance the construction of a new road that would connect highway 65 and 99 in Sutter County. The program proposal would have 9 million dollars advanced that would not be paid back with the remainder being paid back by the county in lieu of property taxes. Placer County would pay 24 million dollars with the total 48 million funding the construction of phase one of the inter connector highway. This funding program is in addition to several other funding programs the tribe pays to the county for other services.
