Matt Spokely, Auburn City Councilman since 2014, and served as Auburn City Mayor in 2017, has announced his candidacy for re-election to the Auburn City Council. Spokely will hold his first fun raiser on July 25th which will be hosted by Flyers Energy and will be at the Flyers hanger at the Auburn Airport. A According to a release over the weekend, Spokelya s stated priorities as a councilman include repairing the citya s roads and aging infrastructure and is focused on boosting Auburna s economy by continuing to invest in unique economic opportunities to help existing businesses while attracting tourists, residents and entrepreneurs alike. Public and fire safety will also be top priority according to the campaign.
