The Edelweiss Restaurant at 627 High Street was forced to evacuate yesterday morning after fire fighters responded to a report of smoke in the Livingston block building. The alarm came in at 8:30 AM and most of the business in the building had not opened yet. A small electrical fire broke out in the restroom which forced the restaurant to close. County Health Department will determine when the restaurant can reopen following their inspections.
