The Bowman Bridges opened to traffic in both directions on Friday. Several local businesses were impacted since construction started on the two bridges last summer but with communication from the county, a hotline for information and media coverage, all coped with what was needed to upgrade these important bridges. Cost to the county and state along with Federal Highway dollars is estimated to be 3.5 million dollars
