Nevada has become the “State to go to” by a majority of California residents who have decided to leave the golden state of California. More than 50,000 Californians moved to Nevada from July 2017 to July 2018, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported, or nearly 40%of the total number of people who moved from another U.S. state during that time. The major attraction of Nevada for California residents is there is NO income tax, and there is a much lower cost of living for most city dwellers in California. There is still a draw to California for younger professionals since there is higher paying jobs in California’ Silicon Valley for this population. The older generation is seeing the opposite.
