With the fall-back change of time from daylight savings time to standard time approaching in less than two weeks, California residents are wondering if the Assembly bill # 7 which was passed earlier this year stating that year around daylight savings time could be adopted by the legislature, will happen. The legislature has pushed the decision to 2020 so the answer is we roll back the clocks one hour in November, this year. A sticking point is the Federal law does not allow for a state to adopt daylight saving time as a standard, but can adopt standard time as a year around condition. So Sunday, November 3rd, turn the clocks back one hour.
