Colfax Teen Found Dead Near Gold Run Rest Stop on I 80

Dante de la Torre, 16, the missing Colfax teen, has been found near the Gold Run rest stop reported by Placer County Sheriffas. Authorities said there was no indication of foul play but an examination will be performed by the coroneras office. De la Torre, 16, was reported missing after he did not return from the Gold Run rest stop area after working on a school project Wednesday and had no contact with family and friends since. According to the Sheriff’s Office, multiple resources were deployed Thursday to assist in the search for de la Torre.
