Placer County held ground breaking ceremonies today on the beginning of a new cornera s building. Several officials of county, city, state and federal governments were in attendance. The current building was built in 1940 and was a part of the Dewitt Center when it was built to handle wounded soldiers coming home from the war in the Pacific. A The New facility will cost 28.5 million dollars and will be located in Roseville. In addition to providing services to Placer County but also have contracts to other counties nearby. The Coronera s office also handles the organ transplant process. A The opening of the facility will be in 2020.
