Placer County Schools are moving to reopen over the next two weeks. They will be required to hold a extended learninga education classes which means all students will be required to stay home for schooling, and teachers will be either in classrooms or at home as they teach each class. The schools will be required to log in the teaching minutes each day and teaching days will be 180 days based on Governor Newsom instructions. The hemisphere of action includes 140 Public Schools, 15 to twenty private schools, and 80 thousand students in the county. Local authorities say they cannot predict how long this situation will last due to daily changes in status of the Covid-19 Virus statistics and when and if Placer County can be taken off the Gov.a s watch list.
