May 21 is the deadline to register to vote in the June 5 statewide primary election. Voter registration is available online or in person at public libraries, high schools, chambers of commerce, post offices, city clerka s offices and the Department of Motor Vehicles. If you miss the deadline, you can register in person at the Placer County Elections Office and conditionally vote a provisional ballot up to and on Election Day. The Placer County Elections Office urges registering as early as possible to avoid unnecessary waiting and to receive a regular ballot and voting materials.
