On Tuesday May 15th, the Sheriffas Office along with detectives from the Grass Valley Police Department as well as Investigators with the District Attorneyas Office launched a coordinated operation where search warrants were served at three locations; two in the City of Grass Valley and a residence in Cascade Shores on Sadie D Drive. Evidence was collected at all three locations and during the search of the residence in Cascade Shores, Bryant was contacted and ultimately arrested on charges of domestic violence and torture, for which he remains in custody. Further search of the Sadie D Drive residence and property revealed what detectives believed to be human remains among the remnants of a small burn pile – those remains were in the form of bones, which were later taken to the Human Identification lab at Chico State Universityas Anthropology Department.
