By Jerry Henry on November 10, 2018.

Four transients were found in an over dose condition by Placer County Deputies Wednesday at the Auburn Recreation Districta s Regional Park of Dry Creek Road. The group had been given a white powder like substance and told it was cocaine. Within a few minutes, all four were unresponsive. Deputies admininstered Narcan, a product used to save lives in an overdose situation. They were removed from the park area and taken to a local hospital. The substance they took is being analyzed by the department of Justice because local lab tests proved inconclusive.
