Cal Trans and electrical sub-contractors will be performing work on new traffic light systems again this week on Highway 49 and could cause delays on the north and southbound highway. Work is scheduled from , Feb. 22-26, from 6 p.m.-6 a.m. as crews activate new traffic signals at Elm Avenue/Fulweiler Avenue, Luther Road and Bell Road as part of the Highway 49 Rehabilitation Project. Completion of the 42.4-million-dollar upgrade on highway 49 is expected to be completed this summer.
