Placer County Sheriff’s deputies have found and arrested a man who allegedly assaulted a woman at his Meadow Vista home.
Ricardo Zubia, 31, was arrested and booked on Tuesday at the Placer County Jail in Auburn on suspicion of kidnapping, assault with a deadly weapon, false imprisonment and felony domestic violence.
According to a post on Placer County Sheriffa s Office Facebook page, Zubia is accused of seriously injuring a woman on Monday night. Meadow Vista residents were warned Tuesday morning that he was still believed to be in his home on Sherwood Way, prompting a search of the property and of the Meadow Vista area.
